yep, just another blog.

about music. about world music.

have been dabbling in it a while, but only because of utter boredom with what i usually hear on the radio. all i hear is the same variation of pop and rock. don't get me wrong, i love the beatles to death … but who says i have to listen to everything in english? and why has acoustic become something special? sigh.

now, listening to the non-mainstream music has its upside. i don't need to understand what's being sung. i can enjoy the beat and just get lost in the "music". and i feel "cool" that i'm listening to something that not everyone else knows. heehaw.
