Luaka Bop is another label of world music artists (Susana Baca is in their little line-up). By their name alone, I like them already!
If you've tried Calabash and found that as a a great resource, here's another one … for easy samplings of world music. Take your pick of Latin, African, DJ Afro mix, Brazilian and the Luaka mix.
It's a flash-run thingy, so no need to download anything (you DO have Flash, right?) Just click on "Toybox" graphic and enjoy! I had a hard time tearing myself away. After that, don't forget to wander around to read up and listen to more great artists …
